Built on Questions, Not Certainties

We started yolentriqex in 2019 because we kept seeing the same pattern—businesses making capital decisions based on what felt urgent rather than what mattered most. Our approach came from asking better questions about where money actually creates value.

From Frustration to Framework

Back in 2018, I was watching companies throw resources at projects because everyone else was doing it. The tech boom made it worse—every business felt pressure to invest in things they didn't understand. I'd sit in meetings where no one could articulate why a particular expenditure mattered beyond "staying competitive."

So we built something different. Not another consulting firm promising transformation, but a practical system for thinking through capital decisions. We focus on helping businesses understand their actual constraints and opportunities before committing resources.

Five years later, we work with manufacturing firms, service businesses, and mid-market companies across the UK. The work hasn't changed much—we still ask uncomfortable questions about whether specific investments make sense given what each business is trying to accomplish.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't values we put on a poster. They're practical principles that shape how we approach every client engagement and capital allocation question.

01

Context Over Templates

Your capital allocation framework should reflect your actual business model and constraints. We don't believe in universal formulas—what works for a manufacturer with long lead times won't make sense for a service business with different cash conversion cycles.

02

Honest About Limits

Every investment involves trade-offs. We're direct about opportunity costs and realistic timelines. If something doesn't make financial sense given your current situation, we'll explain why rather than finding ways to justify it.

03

Long-Term Thinking

Quarterly results matter, but sustainable businesses optimize for years rather than months. We help clients build capital allocation frameworks that balance immediate needs with longer-term competitive positioning and capability development.

People Behind the Analysis

Our team combines accounting backgrounds with operational experience. We've all worked in businesses where capital decisions had real consequences—it shapes how we approach client work.
